Ile zmieniło się w ciągu dwóch tysięcy lat. Osoba, która otwarcie wyznawała Chrystusa, nie potrzebowała innych rekomendacji w kontaktach z innymi chrześcijanami.

Cosa vuole spiegare Gesù ai suoi discepoli di oggi con questa parola? Come Cristiani facendo le opere della carità non siamo liberi dalla superbia.

"I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

"A Jezus widząc, że tłum się zbiega, rozkazał surowo duchowi nieczystemu: Duchu niemy i głuchy, rozkazuję ci, wyjdź z niego i nie wchodź więcej w niego!"

Z jednej strony nadbiegający tłum, a z drugiej wychodzący z opętanego duch niemy i głuchy. Mam nadzieję, że nikt z tłumu nie udzielił mu schronienia.

"perché siate figli del Padre vostro celeste, che fa sorgere il suo sole sopra i malvagi e sopra i buoni, e fa piovere sopra i giusti e sopra gli ingiusti."

Il Padre celeste dà la vita a tutti suoi figli cioè la pienezza delle esperienze umane. Il sole di gioia e speranza, ma anche la pioggia di tristezza e dolore.

"Ma egli replicò: E voi chi dite che io sia?. Pietro gli rispose: Tu sei il Cristo."

Questa domanda ci vuole un risposta dal cuore, che non ci lascia nessuno spazio per fare ragionamento.

Sr_6Z_Mc8,25

"Then he laid hands on his eyes a second time and he saw clearly; his sight was restored and he could see everything distinctly."

Una benedizione del luogo dove vivono i nostri fratelli. Una preghiera al Signore per farci i portatori del pace, ovunque ci troviamo.

N_6Z_Mt5,23-24

"Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

Questo è un esempio del miracolo che Gesù ha fatto lontano dalla folla. Ci sono solamente Gesù e il sordomuto. Ma anche, le altre due persone della Trinità, Il Padre nel cielo e lo Spirito-sospiro.

"The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter."

Złe myśli, które rodzą się w sercu, wychodzą z człowieka przebierając postać konkretnego zła, które wyrządzamy względem naszych bliźnich. Lista postaci zła jest nieskończona, tak, jak lista myśli, która powstają w naszym sercu. Nie zatrzymujmy ich, nie przywiązujmy się do nich, pozwólmy im wydostać się na zewnątrz i rozpłynąć w powietrzu.

Wt_5Z_Mc7,1-13

"annullando così la parola di Dio con la tradizione che avete tramandato voi. E di cose simili ne fate molte."

Perchè la tradizione può cambiare la parola di Dio così facilmente? Qui si tratta di una battaglia tra vita e morte. Ogni abitudine ci da certa sicurezza, ci mette in un ambiente tranquillo in cui nessuno ci costringe a dare una risposta personale della vita. In quel senso la tradizione è morta, invece la parola di Dio non muore mai.

anapauō - fare una pausa, riposare. Il Signore chiede ai sui discepoli di riposare nel luogo deserto, dove lui pregava. Si tratta di un invito di Gesù alla preghiera che potrebbe nutrire l'anima.

Solo lo Spirito Santo potrebbe darci una speranza che riempisca la vita. Poi, questa speranza diventa certezza che sia più forte della morte.

La promessa di Gesù sembra molto significativa per l'uomo di oggi che si sente potente come l'unico padrone della terra. Secondo l'ordine che propone Gesù la terra sarà consegnata nelle mani di quelli che sono umili. Torneremo al giardino di Eden, dove ci sarà l'albero da cui solo Signore potrebbe cogliere il frutto.

It is very late and everyone is tired but Jesus wants to get on the other side. He wants to set out, right now. I will start over tomorrow, because today everything has been already lost. Jesus teaches us that every moment is the good one to make a difference in our lives.

"Czy śpi, czy czuwa, we dnie i w nocy nasienie kiełkuje i rośnie, on sam nie wie jak."

Jest tak wiele spraw w naszym życiu, wykraczających poza obszar, nad którym, przy ogromnym wysiłku naszego ciała i duszy, sprawujemy kontrolę. W pewnym momencie zdajemy sobie sprawę, że z niezauważonego przez nas ziarna wyrosło drzewo, którego cień, jak plama na białej koszuli, ściąga wzrok każdego, kto na nas patrzy. Nasz skrzętnie doglądany ogród z biegiem lat zarasta lasem drzew, wyrosłych z tysiąca ziaren przyniesionych przez wiatr, który owiewa nasze życie bogactwem doświadczeń. Wśród tych drzew rośnie drzewo, które wyrosło z nasienia należącego do Pana i teraz potrzebuje światła i wody.

Cz_3Z_Mc4,25

"Poiché a chi ha, sarà dato e a chi non ha, sarà tolto anche quello che ha".

Nell'ambiente semitico la prosperità di una famiglia indica la benedizione di Dio che sempre apprezza quelli che sono fedeli. Sentendo questo noi pensiamo di quelli che vivono la vita difficile e sofferente, e spiegamo subito che tutto quello fosse la pena di Dio. Non è così. Dio è misericordioso per i peccatori manifestando l'amore ed, è misericordioso per i fedeli manifestando l'abbondanza eterna.

Sr_3Z_Lc10,3

"Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves."

As being a lamb, what to do to survive if there are wolves all around? Is this necessarily meant to put yourself in death? Maybe, we should spend many hours to learn how to howl as good as they do? Jesus simply says: Go (hypāgete).

Wt_3Z_Mc16,17-18

"Tym zaś, którzy uwierzą, te znaki towarzyszyć będą: w imię moje złe duchy będą wyrzucać, nowymi językami mówić będą; węże brać będą do rąk, i jeśliby co zatrutego wypili, nie będzie im szkodzić. Na chorych ręce kłaść będą, i ci odzyskają zdrowie»."

Całkiem nowy porządek świata proponuje Jezus tym, którzy w Niego uwierzą. Z jednej strony wszystko to, czego się baliśmy, okaże się śmieszne i niegroźne, a z drugiej, będziemy świadkami uwolnienia od złych duchów i chorób.

P_3Z_Mc3,22-30

"Ma gli scribi, che erano discesi da Gerusalemme, dicevano: Costui è posseduto da Beelzebùl e scaccia i demòni per mezzo del principe dei demòni".

Quest'accusa degli scribi finisce con la condanna a morte di Gesù, cioè gli scribi e gli altri lo fanno totalmente esposto al principe della morte. Lui viene a prendere possesso di quel Dio-l'uomo e perde tutto il suo dominio per sempre.

N_3Z_Mt4,17

"From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

This is a moment, when there is no more possible to hide the truth. There is no turn-back, anymore. The only thing left to do is to make repentance and proclaim the kingdom of God.

S_2Z_Mc3,20-21

"Potem przyszedł do domu, a tłum znów się zbierał, tak, że nawet posilić się nie mogli. Gdy to posłyszeli Jego bliscy, wybrali się, żeby Go powstrzymać. Mówiono bowiem: «Odszedł od zmysłów»."

Rodzina poczuwa się do odpowiedzialności za Jezusa. Przychodzą go ratować. Tymczasem on nie ma czasu z nimi usciąść, nie ma czasu na wspólny posiłek i rozmowę. Wrócą do domu z przekonaniem, że zrobili, co mogli.

"Giuda Iscariota, quello che poi lo tradì."

Nell'elenco dei Apostoli c'è questa caratteristica di Giuda. Dall'inizio porta il peso del tradimento. Come mai il seme prima che sarà germinato porta i frutti velenosi?

"He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him."

It is a strange thing to have discovered that our Lord might feel overwhelmed by our constant and appealing need for him solve our problems. What he really does asking for a boat kept ready is a space and freedom to look at us and his mission from a new perspective, from the sea. We sometimes, emphasizing our freedom, forget to respect God's freedom that is perfectly manifested in the mystery of incarnation, in the mystery of Jesus Christ.

"Wtedy spojrzawszy wkoło po wszystkich z gniewem, zasmucony z powodu zatwardziałości ich serca, rzekł do człowieka: «Wyciągnij rękę!». Wyciągnął, i ręka jego stała się znów zdrowa."

Pan, zasmucony i rozgniewany zatwardziałością tych, którzy się wokół niego gromadzili, dokonuje cudu uzdrowienia. I wychodzi na zewnątrz, nie patrząc na nikogo, aby odetchnąć świeżym powietrzem.

Wt_2Z_Mc2,24

"I farisei gli dissero: Vedi, perché essi fanno di sabato quel che non è permesso?

Mi immagino con sorriso che oggi un cattolico facesse quella domanda al Signore vedendo che lui non andava in chiesa la domenica?

P_2Z_Mc2,19

"Jesus answered them: Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast."

Let us take these words not literally and consider the fast in a more spiritual way as a something what make us stay present before the God. If the Lord is close to us, all our thoughts and desires are pointed at him, there is no other thing we need to look for or even refrain from. Everything becomes a pure presence.

"To jest Ten, o którym powiedziałem: Po mnie przyjdzie Mąż, który mnie przewyższył godnością, gdyż był wcześniej ode mnie."

Świadczyć o życiu, śmierci i zmartwychwstaniu Jezusa, które dokonało się 2000 lat temu, to zapowiadać Jego powtórne przyjście, a więc, nasze dzisiejsze życie w Chrystusie zawiera w sobie całą przeszłość i przyszłość świata. Co za odpowiedzialność!

"Non sono i sani che hanno bisogno del medico, ma i malati; non sono venuto per chiamare i giusti, ma i peccatori".

Una persona che viene dal dottore aspetta nervosamente nella fila fino ad sentire il suo nome. Un peccatore, chiuso e ferito dal peccato, paradossalmente, è una persona che sta molto attenta, è un buon ascoltatore.

Pt_1Z_Mc2,1-2

"When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days, it became known that he was at home.
Many gathered together so that there was no longer room for them, not even around the door, and he preached the word to them."

He is back home! - the message spreads out immediately. I bet that the most of the Capernaum inhabitants did not even know that Jesus lived there. Now, he is preaching and his words are coming out the door to fulfill their lack of compassion.

"Wtedy przyszedł do Niego trędowaty i upadając na kolana, prosił Go: «Jeśli chcesz, możesz mnie oczyścić»."

Jest to najbardziej charakterystyczny i bardzo piękny obraz chrześcijanina, który na kolanach prosi swojego Boga. Panie, jestem grzesznikiem, miej miłosierdzie nade mną, jeśli tylko taka jest Twoja wola.

"Venuta la sera, dopo il tramonto del sole, gli portavano tutti i malati e gli indemoniati."

Proprio dopo il tramonto gli portavano tutti i malati e gli indemoniati. Lo facevano di nascosto, nel buio della notte come si vergognassero della voglia di aiutarli.

Wt_1Z_Mc1,27-28

"All were amazed and asked one another, What is this? A new teaching with authority. He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey him. His fame spread everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee."

We can imagine that this notice about the Jesus' extraordinary power over the unclean spirits have been spread not only by the people but also by the demons. There is a kind of evil in every human fame, what makes devils wake up. That is why very few people can handle being a star.

"Przechodząc obok Jeziora Galilejskiego, ujrzał Szymona i brata Szymonowego, Andrzeja, jak zarzucali sieć w jezioro; byli bowiem rybakami."

Pan przechadza się wzdłuż jeziora, jak kiedyś Bóg w ogrodzie podziwiając dzieło swojego stworzenia. Dzieła rąk Pana, ludzie, którym powierzono pieczę nad wszelkim stworzeniem w morzu i na lądzie, zostaną zaproszeni do niesienia światu zbawienia.

N_Batt_Mt3,14

"Giovanni però voleva impedirglielo, dicendo: "Io ho bisogno di essere battezzato da te e tu vieni da me?".

Il Signore ci stupisce di nuovo, girando sottosopra le nostre certezze, anche quelle più buone. Un buon esempio per introdurci alla logica del servo umile.

"So he gave orders to have them sit down in groups on the green grass."

The crowds like the children are asked to sit down, because something important is going to be announced. Green grass is a symbol of abundance and life.

Pt_2Nat_Lc5,13

"Jezus wyciągnął rękę i dotknął go, mówiąc: «Chcę, bądź oczyszczony». I natychmiast trąd z niego ustąpił."

Pan chce nas oczyszczać z brudu, którego własnymi siłami nie potrafimy się pozbyć. Wyciąga rękę i dotyka miejsc, które są martwe, aby na nowo odżyły.

Cz_Epifania_Mt2,11

"Entrati nella casa, videro il bambino con Maria sua madre, e prostratisi lo adorarono. Poi aprirono i loro scrigni e gli offrirono in dono oro, incenso e mirra."

I Magi arrivano a Betlemme, dopo aver fatto un viaggio lungo e pericoloso. La scena dell'incontro con il bambino e i suoi genitori è raccontata semplicemente con una frase, piena degli elementi, potremo dire, liturgici. L'entro, prostrazione, adorazione, offerta dei doni.

Sr_2Nat_Gv1,47

"Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him."

This is such a good compliment that came from Jesus. Everyone wishes to hear the same words of himself. There is no dolos (that means a guile) in Nathanael who is truly not looking for anything what would make him control over a man or reality, because both are created by God. Who has acknowledged that there is only one God who had created everything, is a true Israelite.

Wt_2Nat_Gv1,36-37

"i gdy zobaczył przechodzącego Jezusa, rzekł: «Oto Baranek Boży». Dwaj uczniowie usłyszeli, jak mówił, i poszli za Jezusem."

Co takiego usłyszeli ci dwaj uczniowie? Nie usłyszeli przecież: to pasterz Boży, idźcie za nim. Jak można pójść za kimś, kto jak baranek jest prowadzony na rzeź?

P_2Nat_Gv1,32

"Giovanni rese testimonianza dicendo: Ho visto lo Spirito scendere come una colomba dal cielo e posarsi su di lui."

La colomba spiega le ali per posarsi gentilmente su Gesù. Tutta la potenza del cielo, portata dallo Spirito, entra l'uomo.

N_2Nat_Gv1,15-16

"John testified to him and cried out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, 'The one who is coming after me ranks ahead of me because he existed before me. From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace"

"charin anti charitos" is the grace above all graces, the highest grace that existed before us and gave us life.

S_MariaMdD_Lc2,19

"Lecz Maryja zachowywała wszystkie te sprawy i rozważała je w swoim sercu."

Sytuacje ludzkie, w których rozumiemy i znamy kontekst szerszy od wszystkich innych wokoło, sprawiają, że milkniemy. Stajemy wobec tajemnicy godności człowieka i złożoności ludzkiego życia.

Pt_1Nat_Gv1,12-13

"A quanti però l'hanno accolto,
ha dato potere di diventare figli di Dio: a quelli che credono nel suo nome,
i quali non da sangue,
né da volere di carne,
né da volere di uomo,
ma da Dio sono stati generati."

L'atto dell'accoglienza del Verbo di Dio ci mette nella figliolanza di Dio. Credendo nel suo nome, possiamo uscire le condizioni e i rapporti umani, quelli che sono basati sulle cose terrene, sulla discendenza dal sangue e dalla carne per essere immersi nella generazione fatta da Dio.

Cz_1Nat_Lc2,36-37

"There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived seven years with her husband after her marriage, and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer."

Luke put an emphasis on the Anna's advanced age. For only 7 years she had been married to his husband who probably would have died in some tragic circumstances. The rest of her life she had spent praying and fasting in the Temple. There was no better reference for someone chosen to prophesy about the Messiah.

Sr_1Nat_Lc2,34

"Symeon zaś błogosławił Ich i rzekł do Maryi, Matki Jego: «Oto Ten przeznaczony jest na upadek i na powstanie wielu w Izraelu, i na znak, któremu sprzeciwiać się będą."

Symeon przepowiada przyszłość Jezusa, zwracając się do jego matki, niejako przygotowując ją na bycie świadkiem misji, którą wypełni jej syn. W słowach przepowiedni mimo, że słyszymy o niekórych z Izraela, którzy powstaną, aby służyć nowonarodzonemu mesjaszowi, to jednak przeważa obraz tych, którzy upadną i będą się sprzeciwiać.

Wt_1Nat_Mt2,16

"Erode, accortosi che i Magi si erano presi gioco di lui, s'infuriò e mandò ad uccidere tutti i bambini di Betlemme e del suo territorio dai due anni in giù, corrispondenti al tempo su cui era stato informato dai Magi."

Questa reazione di Erode mette in evidenza che sempre i più piccoli e i più innocenti siano le vittime dell'ingiustizia. Mi immagino che anche il piccolo Signore, portato in braccio di Maria verso l'Egitto, avesse sentito quel pianto e lamento grande dei Innocenti Martiri.
