Wt_19Z_Gv12,24-25

„Zaprawdę, zaprawdę, powiadam wam: Jeżeli ziarno pszenicy wpadłszy w ziemię nie obumrze, zostanie tylko samo, ale jeżeli obumrze, przynosi plon obfity. Ten, kto kocha swoje życie, traci je, a kto nienawidzi swego życia na tym świecie, zachowa je na życie wieczne.”

Ci, których życie nie oszczędza, znajdują w tych słowach pocieszenie. Z kolei ci, którzy wiodą życie spokojne i dostatnie, nie rozumieją tego wcale. Może tylko czasami zatęsknią za naśladowaniem Chrystusa, tak, na całego.

P_19Z_Mt25,1-2

“Il regno dei cieli è simile a dieci vergini che, prese le loro lampade, uscirono incontro allo sposo. Cinque di esse erano stolte e cinque sagge.“

In ogni nostro desiderio c’è la parte buona e giusta, ma anche quella cattiva e stolta. Crediamo che sarà un tempo nella nostra vita in cui vedremo con certezza che l’unico desiderio puro è il vedere del Signore.

N_19Z_Lc12,37

“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them.”

So, we are supposed to wait for our Lord all the time. He is going to do this to show us that He is our servant and the same things he wants us to do for others.

S_18Z_Mt17,16

„Przyprowadziłem go do Twoich uczniów, lecz nie mogli go uzdrowić.”

To jest moment, w którym trzeba zwrócić się do Pana bezpośrednio, bo już nikt inny nie może pomóc.

Pt_Transfigur_Lc9,30-31

“Ed ecco due uomini parlavano con lui: erano Mosè ed Elia, apparsi nella loro gloria, e parlavano della sua dipartita che avrebbe portato a compimento a Gerusalemme.”

Stanno parlando molto seriamente delle cose di salvezza, del futuro d’Israele. Per fare agli Apostoli vedere che il Messia dei profeti e Gesù umile è la stessa persona.

Cz_18Z_Mt16,18

“And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.“

Sometimes when we face the difficulties around the Church and in the Church itself these words make the last argument to be mentioned. There is only hope that we were built on the rock and the powers of evil will not overcome us.

Sr_18Z_Mt15,22-23

„A oto kobieta kananejska, wyszedłszy z tamtych okolic, wołała: «Ulituj się nade mną, Panie, Synu Dawida! Moja córka jest ciężko dręczona przez złego ducha». Lecz On nie odezwał się do niej ani słowem. Na to podeszli Jego uczniowie i prosili Go: «Odpraw ją, bo krzyczy za nami!»”

Zdaje się, że Pan Bóg nie widzi cierpienia niektórych osób i nawet ludzie obcy muszą Go prosić: zrób coś z tym! A może jednak widzi, tylko chce „wyczekać”, aż zbrzydnie nam krzyk, który niesie nasze fałszywe wyobrażenie o Nim.

Wt_18Z_Mt14,25

“Verso la fine della notte egli venne verso di loro camminando sul mare.”

Gesù cammina sul mare in silenzio, senza essere in fretta. Questo cammino fa l’altra parte della sua preghiera di notte. La notte e un periodo in cui le forze cattive, i demoni vogliono dominare il mondo ma Gesù vince e adesso va a vedere i suoi.

P_18Z_Mt14,14

“When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick.”
Let’s stop the moment when Jesus looks at the crowd with compassion. He sees many faces in need and his heart is moved by mercy. He is a God and a man who looks at his creation with pity and begins to cure the sick. The mercy of God is a gift of his incarnation.

„Pewnemu zamożnemu człowiekowi dobrze obrodziło pole. I rozważał sam w sobie: Co tu począć? Nie mam gdzie pomieścić moich zbiorów.”
Nie jeden z nas marzyłby o tym, aby móc się martwić nadmiarem bogactw. Tych problemów nie ma ten, kto się dzieli.

"Che giova all'uomo guadagnare il mondo intero, se poi si perde o rovina se stesso?”
Dovrebbe desiderare che il Signore trovasse un modo di farci vedere questo pericolo senza metterci in sofferenza.

Pt_17Z_Mt13,55

“Is he not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother named Mary and his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? “

They know all the names of Jesus’ family; it is impressive how precisely they speak them out. It seems to me that they need some time to comprehend that this man whose teaching is so appealing, is an ordinary man, who lives among them and shares the same ordinary life. How many times do we try to convince ourselves that the things we hear and attract us cannot make any difference in our ordinary lives?
