"You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye."
I feel sorry for the hypocrites. It must be exhausting to hide your own wooden beam and look for a little splinter at the same time. It is almost like driving a truck in Athens and looking for a spot to park there.

"Gdy raz modlił się na osobności, a byli z Nim uczniowie, zwrócił się do nich z zapytaniem: Za kogo uważają Mnie tłumy?"
Nasz Pan modlił się na osobności, a jednocześnie byli z Nim Jego uczniowie. Gdyby uczniowie modlili się razem z Nim, nie było by pytania, o to, za kogo Go uważają. Modlitwa nie jest polityką, nie jest stawianiem pytań, szukaniem odpowiedzi czy wyrażaniem opini.

"The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled with light;but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be."
I imagine how it would be like to be a blind and to live in a complete darkness. What I experience when I keep my eyes close is that there is no moment in which I am not looking for light. Not with my dead eyes but listening carefully, extending hands and touching the things around me and I try to bring my memories and picture the world to what I was used. There is a hope that we always look for the light.

"you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust"
He gives us a shining sun and some people say: it is too hot, but others enjoy it. When it rains, some people are disappointed but others think about the growing plants.

"He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart."
After the incident in the temple we hear that Mary kept (gr. diatēreō means to keep, to treasure) everything about Jesus in her heart, because there was no better place for it. Since that, we can see two processes in Nazareth: Jesus is growing in the obedience so he could fulfill His Father's will and Mary is treasuring all the most precious things in her constant fiat.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill."
Jesus makes everything what his Father has promised to his people come true, so the law of the Lord and his words would be "sweet to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" (Ps119,103)

"As the day was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, "Dismiss the crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here."
The disciples predict a coming problem of the crowd. We are in the desert and they must be hungry and there is no food. Let them take care of themselves. Let them dismiss and find the food on their own. How many times we are so excellent in predicting the coming problems that we don't want to face?

Davide stesso infatti ha detto, mosso dallo Spirito Santo:
Disse il Signore al mio Signore:
Siedi alla mia destra,
finché io ponga i tuoi nemici
come sgabello ai tuoi piedi.
Davide stesso lo chiama Signore: come dunque può essere suo figlio?". E la numerosa folla lo ascoltava volentieri.
