"He took the child by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise!"
Jesus knows that this little girl is sleeping, so he asks her to wake up. It is like a serious father's command to make his children stop playing because there is time to do homework, now. Jesus seems to treat our "big dramas" with a short "stop it". Do not panic, look around to see the solution.
