Many times we expect the great fruits from the things in which we put a lot of work and energy. Then we are shocked that these our hopes go in a direction where we have never wanted them to turn. Getting ready for glory and joy we end up in tears and sorrow. Expect nothing - say the Buddhist masters and Yahweh cries out: Hear, O Israel. Not follow your ego-voice.
