“But Thomas (who was called the Twin) one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.”
We sometimes listen to our friend’s stories about the exciting things we have missed but missing an encounter with the resurrected Lord and lack of the spiritual experience in searching for Him seem to be a real misfortune. Where are you, my Lord, why are you coming when I am far away? These situations encourage us to pray for a faith, in which we have to face long periods of God’s absence.
