"As the day was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, "Dismiss the crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here."
The disciples predict a coming problem of the crowd. We are in the desert and they must be hungry and there is no food. Let them take care of themselves. Let them dismiss and find the food on their own. How many times we are so excellent in predicting the coming problems that we don't want to face?
