" When the Paraclete comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who issues from the Father, he will be my witness. And you too will be witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning" The Holy Spirit has been sent to testify (gr. martyreō) about the Father and we also are encouraged to be testimonies (the same greek word martyreō). The Holy Spirit comes from Father and we are His creatures from the beginning. There is no other work for us but being witnesses of the Lord, and the Spirit will guide us.
